A CLOSER LOOK AT DISTANCE LEARNING TODAY

Last year, nearly 3.2 million students took at least one online course. By 2011 the majority of U.S. postsecondary students will participate online, at some level, in virtual learning. There is a distance learning revolution taking place in America and Distance Learning Today (DL Today) is here to facilitate its advancement.

With a focus on drawing popular attention to the increasingly relevant online education market, Distance Learning Today will establish a solid and notable presence as a leading online educational resource. In so doing, we will build a powerful platform for online educators while effectively publicizing the key role of the United States Distance Learning Association in developing this market and helping it realize its full potential.

Furthermore, we intend to position DL Today as the premier and most efficient vehicle to expand, explain and popularize online learning. We will offer recognized, relevant and differentiated benefits to specific target audiences by merging the career advancement with the marketing sales needs of consumers, academic institutions and corporations servicing the market.

NEWS

Each year the US Distance Learning Association, which is the world’s leading distance learning association, honors those schools and organizations that have led the way in improving distance learning via notable best practice achievements. Judged by their peers the winners need to go through a rigorous examination period before their selection is announced at the USDLA annual conference.

We are very pleased that this year three of our advertising supporters were honored: Berkeley College Online, University of North Carolina Greensboro and Pepperdine University.
